Marco Rose appointed new head coach of RB Leipzig
Marco Rose has been appointed as the new head coach of RB Leipzig and has signed a two-year contract valid until June 2024. The 45-year-old replaces Domenico Tedesco, who departed the club on Wednesday, 7th September.
Rose will be presented to the media today at 10:00 CEST and will take charge of his first training session this afternoon.
Former professionals Alexander Zickler, Frank Geideck and Marco Kurth will be Rose’s assistants. The rest of his coaching team will contain goalkeeping coach Frederik Gößling, plus fitness coaches Ruwen Faller, Kai Kraft and Daniel Behlau.
