Shakhtar Burkinian forward Lassina Traore explained his decission to stay in a club.

– Lassina, tell us why you decided to stay in Shakhtar?
– I decided to stay, first of all, for my love for the club and the country, which welcomed me well when everything was going well. I felt at home in Ukraine from the first day. Also all my team mates and management of the club supported me during my injury until today. And I think that recognition is one of the main values in Burkina Faso.

– When can we expect you return to the team?
– I will return as soon as possible, so I can play the next game.

– Does it mean that we can see you on the field already in the UPL MD3 game vs Rukh?
– Wes, I will join the team, but final decision will be up to the coach. If he wants me to play some minutes against the next opponent, I will be ready and do everything I can. So, yes, I will be in Lviv to play the game.

– Do you have any message for Shakhtar fans?
– I want to say to Shakhtar fans that Traore is back with more desire and motivation. It won’t be easy, because of what the team has been through. But we will fight together to honour the club in the Ukrainian championship and the Champions League.
