Yuriy Vernidub returns to UPL after a special order from Ukrainian army
FC "Kryvbas" has officially announced the appointment of a new head coach. Former Zorya and Sheriff manager Yuriy Vernidub today signed a 3-year contract with a Kryvyi Rih team.
It is worth noting that Vernidub starting from the first days of Russia's full-scale invasion of Ukraine has been defending the country in the ranks of the Armed Forces. By a special order of the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Valery Zaluzhny, Yuriy Vernidub was transferred to the city of Kryvyi Rih, the location of FC Kryvbas, for further military service.
“This will allow him, in his spare time off duty, to provide the necessary assistance to the coaching staff in preparing athletes for the competitions,” says the official letter from Ukrainian Ministry of Defense.
