According to Ukrainian journalist Ihor Burbas, during new season Shakhtar will be based in Poland and play it's official games in Lviv.

- Shakhtar next season will most likely be based in Poland. This will help to at least keep some foreign players in the team. Also Shakhtar is going to play it's Champions League games there, - reports Burbas. - At the same time, the team will travel to Ukraine for the matches of the Ukrainian championship, and Lviv most likely to become the host city for the team.

The club also plans to continue its charity matches, one of which will be against the Portuguese champion Porto in August.
