Ukraine defeats Armenia in Andriy Pyatov's last match

The national team of Ukraine has scored a second consecutive victory in the new Nations League season by defeating Armenia in Lodz.

The yellow-blues saved all of their goals for the second half of today's game. Ruslan Malinovsky opened the score after half-time with a perfect strike, sending the ball into the lower left corner. Fifteen minutes later Karavaev made it 2:0, and with six minutes remaining on the clock Vitaliy Mikolenko sealed the game, after taking an advantage of Armenia's poor defending.

Today's match ended on an emotional note, as all the players and coaching staff said their goodbyes to goalkeeper Andriy Pyatov, who played his 102nd and last game for Ukranian national team.
