National team of Ukraine managed to start new season of Nations League with a victory. In the opening match, which continued the series of games against British teams, Oleksandr Petrakov's squad beat Ireland in Dublin - 1:0.

The only goal of the match was scored after the half-time by Viktor Tsygankov. Right after coming of the bench Dynamo Kyiv midfielder made a perfect strike from a freekick, sending the ball past all the players in the box, off the ground and into the net.

1:0 - away victory of the Ukrainian team. In their next Nations League game yellow-blues' will host Armenia on June 11th in the Polish city of Lodz.
