Ukraine defender Oleksandr Zinchenko, speaking to Sky Sports after the game vs Wales (0:1).

"First of all, I would like to say thanks for all of the support we received. Every one of us gave everything we had and left everything on the pitch.

Wales did a great job and Hennessey was man of the match – he made some incredible saves. We didn't deserve to lose today, it was so tight. We need to carry on, work a lot. I wish Wales all the best for the World Cup.

Football is emotions. If we can give some great emotions and feelings for our fans, it's great for us and it's job done. Unfortunately we didn't get the result we wanted today and I feel sorry for our fans. We gave everything today on the pitch but it's football, it can happen."
