Olympics 2024: Spain beat France in the final of the football tournament

Spanish Olympic team defeated France and became the winner of the football tournament at the 2024 Olympics.

The Spaniards were already leading by the 28th minute with a score of 3-1 and could have taken the match to a landslide victory, but allowed the Olympic Games hosts to make a late comeback - after Akliush's goal and Mateta's penalty the game went into extra time.

However, the Furia Roja did not missed out on a victory, scoring twice in stoppage time through the efforts of Camello. 5:3 - the Spanish team added Olympic gold medals to their victory at Euro 2024.
