Lazio - AC Milan 2:2

Lazio and AC Milan produced an entertaining 2-2 draw at the Stadio Olimpico, with the Rossoneri recovering from a two-goal deficit to rescue a point in a dramatic Serie A contest.

The first half belonged almost entirely to Lazio. The Eagles controlled the tempo and created the clearer chances, eventually breaking the deadlock when Matteo Cancellieri arrived at the far post to turn Mattia Zaccagni's cross into the net.

The hosts doubled their advantage shortly before half-time. Tijjani Noslin reacted quickest in a chaotic goalmouth scramble after the ball had struck the crossbar, sending it over the line and leaving AC Milan with a mountain to climb.

But the Rossoneri emerged from the interval looking like a completely different side. A series of substitutions injected fresh energy into Milan, and Diego Moreira became the unlikely star of the comeback by scoring twice in the space of just two minutes.

First, the Portuguese winger met a cross from Christian Pulisic with a superb first-time volley. Moments later, Moreira completed his brace, finishing a flowing move involving Adrien Rabiot with a crisp first-time strike from the edge of the penalty area.

The momentum continued to swing from end to end as both teams searched for a winner. However, Mike Maignan and Christos Mandas stood firm in the closing stages, ensuring there would be no fifth goal.
