After his best performance of the season, Mykhailiuk endured one of his worst outings

The NBA In-Season Tournament continued tonight, bringing not just high-stakes basketball but also a battle for point differential — every bucket mattered.

The biggest blow of the night was dealt to the Utah Jazz and Svi Mykhailiuk. Playing on the road, Utah suffered a crushing 137–97 loss to the Minnesota Timberwolves. After his best performance of the season, Mykhailiuk endured one of his worst outings — just 6 points, 2 rebounds, and 2 assists.

Meanwhile, the Miami Heat — missing Bam Adebayo — came within touching distance of an NBA record. Hosting the Charlotte Hornets, Miami exploded for 53 points in the opening quarter, just two shy of the Golden State Warriors’ 2023 record. Erik Spoelstra’s squad went on to dominate the game, cruising to a 126–108 victory.

Out West, the Denver Nuggets rolled past a Golden State side missing Stephen Curry, winning 129–104. Nikola Jokic was once again the engine for Denver, finishing just short of another triple-double with 26 points, 9 rebounds, and 9 assists.

Finally, in the night’s marquee Western matchup, the San Antonio Spurs snapped the Houston Rockets’ run with a 121–110 win. Rookie sensation Victor Wembanyama delivered a modest 22 points, 8 rebounds, and 4 assists, while last season’s top rookie Stephon Castle impressed with 13 assists.
