Bournemouth - Manchester United 1:1

Manchester United escaped the Vitality Stadium with a dramatic 1-1 draw against AFC Bournemouth, thanks to a 96th-minute strike from Rasmus Højlund in Matchday 34 of the Premier League.

Antoine Semenyo gave the Cherries a deserved lead after exploiting poor defending on United’s right flank. Moments later, Illya Zabarnyi had a golden opportunity to double the advantage, but the Ukrainian centre-back scuffed his shot wide from just 11 yards out—still goalless in the Premier League this season.

The tide turned on the hour mark when Evanilson was shown a straight red card for a reckless challenge in midfield, leaving Rúben Amorim’s side a man down. From that point, United pushed relentlessly, pinning Bournemouth deep into their own box.

Just when it seemed like all hope was lost, Højlund found space amid the chaos and fired home in the 96th minute to snatch a point for the Red Devils—sending travelling fans into raptures and denying Bournemouth what would’ve been a massive win.
