Formula 1: Mclaren tops Italian Grand Prix qualifying
Mclaren topped today's Italian Grand Prix qualifying with Lando Norris taking pole position for the Italian Grand Prix while his teammate Oscar Piastri starts second.
George Russell set the third fastest time, while Ferrari's Charles Leclerc and Carlos Sainz took fourth and fifth places at their home race.
It was not an easy session for Red Bull: Max Verstappen made a mistake on the first fast lap and was unable to improve on the second attempt. As a result, the Dutchman found himself only in seventh place on the grid.
