The first Grand Prix of the season in Formula 1 ended with a confident double victory for the reigning champions. The Red Bull team left no chance to its competitors and confirmed its excellent form from the winter tests.

Three-time champion Max Verstappen began his title defense with a 22-second lead over teammate Sergio Perez. Ferrari's Carlos Sainz finished third, and Italian Leclerc was fourth.
